Afghanistan Squad For Champions Trophy: Afghanistan has announced its team for Champions Trophy 2025 on Sunday evening. Afghanistan has announced a 15-member team. Afghanistan has made Hashmatullah Shahidi the captain. Whereas 18 year old young player Allah Ghazanfar has been included in the team. This player has impressed a lot with his performance. Along with Rashid Khan and Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmanullah Gurbaz has also got a place in the team. Along with these, three reserve players have also been kept in the team.

Apart from Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Afghanistan has also included Sediqullah Atal in the team. Gulbadin Naib and Rahmat Shah have also got a place in the team. Apart from this, experienced all-rounder Mohammad Nabi has also been given a chance for the Champions Trophy.

Champions Trophy will start from 19th February

Champions Trophy 2025 will start from 19th February. Afghanistan will play its first match in the tournament on 21 February against South Africa in Karachi. After this Afghanistan will face England. This match between the two teams will be played in Lahore on 26 February. After this, Afghanistan will face Australia on 28th February. This match will also be played in Lahore.
