Canada’s poor start while chasing the target
The Canadian team, which set out to chase the target of 201 runs, had a very disappointing start. The team lost its first wicket at the score of 25 runs. Captain Dilpreet Bajwa was out after scoring 13 runs. After this, the process of falling wickets continued and by the time 48 runs were reached, half the team had returned to the pavilion. Saad Bin Zafar did put up some fight by scoring 28 runs and took the team’s score beyond 100, but the hopes of victory were over long ago. Canada scored 118 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.
