Sirajuddin Haqqani Warns Pakistan: The Pakistani Air Force carried out several air strikes in the border areas of Afghanistan in the early hours of Sunday, due to which the tension between the two countries has once again increased. Afghanistan’s Taliban government accused Pakistan of deliberately targeting civilians, including women and children. At the same time, Pakistan defended its attack saying that it only targeted the terrorist hideouts of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
After this incident, a video of Afghan Home Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani went viral on social media, in which he warns Pakistan and says, “The phase of the final warning has ended.” Haqqani threatened that if serious action was taken against Pakistan, “no trace of Pakistan would be left.” This statement can cause further tension in the relations between the two countries.

India came with Afghanistan
India has reacted strongly to the air strikes carried out by Pakistan on Afghanistan. The Indian Foreign Ministry described the action as immoral and cowardly and accused Pakistan of resorting to such attacks to hide its internal failures. The ministry also said the attack occurred in the holy month of Ramadan, when many innocent civilians, especially women and children, were killed or injured. India termed this action of Pakistan as extremely unfortunate and said that such attacks adversely affect international peace and security.
India made it clear that it fully supports the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Afghanistan. The ministry also said that Pakistan repeatedly takes aggressive steps against neighboring countries to divert attention from its domestic problems. India also reiterated in this context that violation of the sovereignty of any country is not acceptable and it is the responsibility of all countries to maintain regional peace.

Taliban warned of revenge
Afghanistan has also strongly criticized this action of Pakistan. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid called it a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and international law. He alleged that religious places and residential areas were targeted in Nangarhar and Paktika, killing or injuring dozens of civilians. Afghanistan has warned to respond to this attack.
