New Delhi: The tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan is continuously deepening. The Taliban government has claimed that it has carried out drone and air strikes on the targets of terrorist organization ISIS-K present within the border of Pakistan. According to the Taliban, terrorist attacks in Afghanistan were being planned from these bases. This action has taken place at a time when two days ago Pakistan had also carried out air strikes inside Afghanistan.

Target in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Taliban says that its drones targeted several suspicious targets in Pakistan’s Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. It has been claimed that many ISIS-K terrorists were killed in these attacks.

A building in Saran area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which was being used as a terrorist hideout, was completely destroyed. The Taliban also said that no civilians were harmed during the operation.

Retaliatory action after Pakistan attack

Analysts believe that this airstrike has been done in response to Pakistan’s recent military action. A few days ago, Pakistan had bombed many targets inside Afghanistan. According to a United Nations report, many civilians were killed in that attack, while Afghan officials said the number of dead was higher. Women and children were also included in these.

India expressed concern

India has also reacted to this entire incident. The Foreign Ministry said that taking military action by violating the border of any country is against its sovereignty and affects regional peace. India has appealed to all parties to exercise restraint and reduce tension.

The situation of conflict between the two countries may increase

Pakistan has been continuously accusing Afghanistan of giving shelter to terrorists, while Taliban rejects these allegations and says that Pakistan’s security challenges are its internal problem. After the latest airstrike, there is a possibility of further tension in the relations between the two countries. If the situation does not improve soon, the military conflict on the border may become more serious.
