Deputy spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat has clearly said in a social media post that the headquarters of the Pakistani government located in Anjar Sar area under Babrak Post in Alisher-Terezi district of Khost province has been captured. Not only this, he also said that dozens of Pakistani soldiers were killed or injured in the operation, and the Afghan army has seized a large quantity of weapons.

Not only this, by issuing another update he said that a major counter military operation has been started on the Durand Line. This operation is being carried out by the 203rd Mansouri Corps and the 201st Khalid bin Waleed Corps in several areas of Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Kunar, Nuristan and Nangarhar provinces as well as at Torkham Gate. In the post, Fitrat claimed that so far one headquarters and 19 posts have been captured. Four posts have been evacuated and completely burnt.

55 Pakistanis were killed

According to Afghanistan, 55 Pakistani soldiers have been killed so far, of which 23 have been recovered, and many have been captured alive. They also claimed to have seized dozens of light and heavy weapons, destroyed a tank and captured an International Harvester vehicle.
