In addition, Hamdullah Fitrat, one of the Taliban’s spokespersons, said that counterattacks have started on the Durand Line, the disputed border with Pakistan and the Khost side.

According to Afghan government spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid, Pakistan carried out airstrikes in the Afghan capital Kabul, Kandahar in the south and Paktia province in the southeast.
