Sports Desk: In the third match of the three-match ODI series being played between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan, Afghanistan has registered a big victory by defeating Zimbabwe by 8 wickets. With this victory, Afghanistan team has also captured the ODI series 2-0. The first match of this series was canceled due to rain. After that, Afghanistan defeated Zimbabwe by winning both the matches.
In the third match being played in Harare, Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Zimbabwe, who came to bat first, had a bad start. Joylord Gambi was out after scoring just 3 runs. After that Ben Curran went on after scoring 12 runs. Craig Erwin was out on 5 runs. Zimbabwe lost 3 wickets for 24 runs. Shaun Williams took control of Zimbabwe to some extent by scoring 60 runs. Apart from that, Sikandar Raza scored 13 runs and Richard Engrava scored 10 runs. 7 batsmen could not cross double figures. Zimbabwe team was all out after scoring 127 runs in 30.1 overs.
Afghanistan's bowlers have bowled brilliantly. For Afghanistan, AM Ghazanfar took 5 wickets for 33 runs. Whereas Rashid Khan took 3 wickets for 38 runs. Farid Ahmed took 1 wicket and Azmatullah Omarzai took 1 wicket to wrap up Zimbabwe early.

In reply, the Afghanistan team, which came to chase this target, won the match by losing 2 wickets in 26.5 overs. Sediqullah Atal batted brilliantly for Afghanistan and played an inning of 52 runs. Whereas Abdul Malik scored 29 runs, Rahmat Shah scored 17 runs and Hashmatullah Shahidi won the match by scoring 20 runs. With this victory, Zimbabwe won the series 2–0. For Zimbabwe, Richard Ngarawa took 1 wicket and Trevor Gwandu took 1 wicket.
After T20 series, ODI series also won
Afghanistan started playing T20 series on Zimbabwe tour. Afghanistan won 2-1 in the T20 series played in Zimbabwe. And captured the series by winning 2-0 in the ODI series. The first match of the ODI series was canceled due to rain.
