In the fifth match played between Nigeria and Ivory Coast, Nigeria, batting first, scored 271/7 in 20 overs. This was the eighth highest score in T20 International. Nigeria's wicketkeeper batsman Selim Salau scored 112 runs in 53 balls, which included 13 fours and 2 sixes. Isaac Okpe added 65 runs in 23 balls and Suleiman Runsewe added 50 runs.

Chasing the target, the Ivory Coast team was reduced to just 7 runs in just 7.3 overs. This is the lowest score in the history of T20 International cricket. Earlier, Mongolia and Isle of Man had made a record of being all out for 10 runs each. Nigeria won this match by 264 runs, which is the third biggest win in T20 International history.
