After Bihar assembly elections, Nitish Kumar took big action, removed 4 district heads from their posts.
Patna: JDU on Friday relieved four of its district presidents from the post for not standing with the party and alliance in the elections. JDU candidates contesting from the assembly constituencies located in the respective districts had complained in writing to the party against the districts whose JDU district presidents have been removed.

JDU has appointed new district presidents in Bagaha, East Champaran, Begusarai and Bhojpur districts. He has been given the responsibility of working president. Former MLA Prabhat Ranjan in Bagaha, Ratan Singh Patel in East Champaran district, former MLC Bhumipal Rai in Begusarai and Bhim Singh Patel in Bhojpur have been made the district presidents of JDU.

According to information received from JDU sources, the district heads against whom complaints were made were called by JDU for hearing in the state office. The hearing of many District Presidents has not taken place yet. The District Presidents who have been removed on the basis of preliminary report may also face action of being expelled from the party if the charges are proved after the final hearing.

The concerned official of JDU said that the committee formed in this regard is also calling those who have given complaint letters to the party. Those against whom there are allegations will also be given a chance to present their side.
