After Bihar, now the way for BJP’s victory in Bengal is clear: PM Modi
Kolkata: Prime Minister visited West Bengal Narendra ModiA natural obstacle was created in security and travel on Saturday. Due to heavy smog, the Prime Minister’s helicopter could not land in Taherpur. However, without disappointing the public, the Prime Minister addressed the gathering through mobile phone and made strong attacks on the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Mamata Banerjee government.
Referring to the results of Bihar elections, the Prime Minister had said in his statement, “Last month, the people of Bihar have given a massive victory to the NDA government for development. The Ganges flows from Bihar to Bengal and the results of Bihar have paved the way for BJP’s victory in Bengal too. Just as Bihar has rejected Jungle Raj, in the same way Bengal now wants freedom from ‘Maha Jungle Raj’.”
PM Modi appealed to the people of Bengal and said that today every corner of Bengal is saying only one thing – “बांचते चाई, ब्जेपी ताई” (बाच्वून है, माते BJP छाई चे) He urged the people to give BJP a chance and said that it is essential to have a ‘double engine’ government for the development of the state. He alleged that the present government is only busy in taking commission, due to which projects worth thousands of crores are pending.
The Prime Minister had exposed the real face of TMC by saying, “Those who raise slogans of ‘Go Back Modi’ are keeping silent against the bribe takers. TMC is opposing SIR only to save the bribe takers. You do not blame me for opposing Modi, but do not commit the sin of shattering the dreams of the people.” In the end, he appealed to the enlightened people of the state to make BJP victorious this time for the welfare and transformation of Bengal.
