Shooting will start from June
According to media reports, the shooting of the Spanish version of ‘Drishyam’ is going to start from June this year. Producer Rodrigo Espinel has confirmed that the film’s script and casting have been completed. This film will be shot at different locations in Spain.
Same story, new style
The film will be adapted to Spanish culture while maintaining its original story. It’s the story of a father who fights the system to save his family—this universal emotion is making it popular across the world.
Why is ‘Drishyam’ special?
‘Drishyam’, which started with Mohanlal’s Malayalam film, was later presented in a new form in Hindi by Ajay Devgn, which performed brilliantly at the box office. The Hindi version and its sequel together grossed more than Rs 500 crore.
‘Drishyam’ has now become one of the few films in the world whose remakes are being made in many languages. Its version made in China also achieved great success. Now apart from Spanish, work on other international versions is also going on.
