The party’s high command has shown proactivity to handle this situation, and according to information, MP Rahul Gandhi had also called a meeting on this issue. However, Congress has not made any official announcement in this regard.

Navjot Kaur Sidhu’s statement and increasing tension

The recent statement of suspended Congress leader Navjot Kaur Sidhu has further increased the tension in the party. According to sources, the high command has formed a high level committee to control the situation. Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with other senior party leaders and discussed ways to prevent problems from escalating during the Parliament session.

Sharp allegations against Raja Amarinder Singh Wadding

Navjot Kaur has recently made serious allegations against Raja Amarinder Singh Wadding, who is the President of Punjab Congress. Kaur, who is the wife of former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, has accused Wadding of ‘ruining’ the party and said that she and her husband will always be with the Congress.

Kaur took a dig at Wadding’s actions, claiming that she had alienated 70 per cent of the party leaders who were eligible for election tickets. He also said that Vading is damaging the seats of Punjab.

Navjot Kaur claimed that she has the support of 70 percent of the Punjab unit of Congress and 90 percent of AICC members. Talking about his suspension, he said that this notice has come from a person who is not recognized.

Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa responded

Amid the long-running allegations, former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said that Navjot Kaur’s allegations will now be answered in the court. Randhawa says that he and Navjot Sidhu had a family relationship and it is shameful to make such allegations. He clarified that he will answer Sidhu in the court.
