Middle-East Tension: Israel and America launched Operation ‘Epic Fury’ Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed. Pakistan was infuriated as soon as the news of Khamenei’s death was received. The situation went out of control in the capital Islamabad as well as Karachi and Lahore.
There was chaos in Skardu located in Pakistan occupied Kashmir i.e. POK. Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the US Consulate in Karachi. The demonstration was initially peaceful, but the situation deteriorated in the afternoon, resulting in the death of 12 people. A large number of people were seen raising slogans against the US.

In Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, people took to the streets in protest against Khamenei’s death and raised slogans against US President Donald Trump. A large number of police and security forces have been deployed in Islamabad to avoid a Karachi-like situation.

According to reports, protesters in Karachi attacked the main gate of the Consulate with hammers and iron rods. The gate broke and the crowd started entering. Firebombs were thrown during the protest, causing several parts of the Consulate building to catch fire. A cloud of black smoke rose into the sky.

Security forces used tear gas and lathicharge to control the situation. During this period there were also reports of firing. At least 12 people, including protesting Rangers and a civilian, were killed in the violent clashes. While many others have also been injured.

In the video circulating on social media, people are seen breaking the gate of the Consulate, burning the building and running away from the crowd. Slogans are written on the walls and pictures of youth waving black flags have also emerged. Along with this, there are also possibilities of this protest taking a more sinister form in Pakistan.

These incidents in Pakistan are part of the US-Israeli operation ‘Epic Fury’ After which many big leaders of Iran were killed and nuclear sites were damaged. Iran responded with missile attacks. The impact of this serious tension is being felt in other countries including Pakistan.
Who were killed in Iran?
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, his daughter Boshara, son-in-law, daughter-in-law Zahra Haddad Adel, IRGC commander Mohammad Pakpur, Defense Minister Amir Nasirzadeh, Ali Shamkhani and Ismail Kani, along with more than 40 other top leaders, were killed in the attack. Overall, more than 200 people were killed and about 747 injured in Iran.

Iran responded strongly to the attack. Iran launched missile and drone attacks on Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, killing one person and injuring 121. Gulf countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait were also attacked. Jordan successfully intercepted 49 missiles. Iran also attacked US base.
