Bollywood’s king Shahrukh Khan is currently in the news for his upcoming film “King”. Presenting a unique blend of action, emotion and style, this film has created curiosity among the audience even before its release. Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan was asked an interesting question in an interview – Is he preparing to become ‘Indian James Bond’ after “King”?
The answer given by King Khan to this question surprised the fans and also made them smile.
“Why James Bond, I should become my own Bond!”
When Shahrukh Khan was asked if he would ever want to play a spy character or an international secret agent, he smiled and said-
“Becoming James Bond is not easy… and maybe I will be, but before that I have to create my own ‘Bond’. I would like to be an agent of my own style.”
His answer created a stir on social media. Many fans wrote that if India’s James Bond was ever created, there could be no better choice than SRK—class, personality, moves and charm, all are already present in him.
King Khan and international action images
This is not the first time that SRK has been linked with the global spy character. Recently, the action avatar presented in his films Pathan and Jawan showed his new look to the audience.
Industry experts believe that SRK’s personality is not only suited for a romantic image, but his body language and screen presence can make him a strong part of any high-octane spy universe.
“King” is also considered to be a big-scale action-driven film, after which SRK’s global action image can become even stronger.

Following SRK’s reply, Twitter (X), Instagram and fan pages were flooded with reactions.
Many fans wrote-

On the other hand, some fans joked-
“Not 007, only 786 would look good on SRK!”
This enthusiasm shows that if the character which has only been a joke till now becomes a reality, then SRK’s fans will embrace it wholeheartedly.
Will SRK work in a spy universe?
Although the actor didn’t hint at any official project, his light-hearted answer perhaps suggests that he is open to exploring new genres and new characters.
Film trade analysts believe that if an international spy-franchise is made in Indian cinema in the future, it would be natural to cast a star like SRK in it.

Currently, Shahrukh Khan is completely focused on the promotion and post-production of his film “King”. The team is trying to do something new regarding the story, action and visuals of the film, and the makers claim that it will be one of the most stylish films of SRK’s career.
