After meeting with Yogi, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat met Deputy CM

Important meeting of Sangh chief in Lucknow

Lucknow. Recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat. After this meeting, Bhagwat paid a courtesy call on both the Deputy Chief Ministers of the state, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak. However, this meeting is being seen as a political stir in terms of possibilities of cabinet expansion and organizational reshuffle. Bhagwat discussed with both the Deputy Chief Ministers for about 10 minutes each.

Conversation between Chief Minister and Sangh chief

CM Yogi’s meeting with Mohan Bhagwat took place late on Wednesday night at the Sangh office complex in Nirala Nagar, Lucknow, where the two talked for about 35 minutes. The Sangh chief’s stay in Lucknow was for two days, and this meeting was on the last day of his stay. This meeting was held in solitude, which has further increased its importance. Frequent meetings between Yogi and Bhagwat have become a topic of discussion for political critics.

Sangh’s focus on preparations for 2027 assembly elections

Eyes on the role of the union
According to sources, Mohan Bhagwat’s attention on Uttar Pradesh seems to be increasing in recent times. His candidature reflects activism in the state under various programmes. This makes it clear that the Sangh Parivar is planning to play an important role in the preparations for the assembly elections to be held in 2027. It is also clear from Bhagwat’s meetings with Yogi Adityanath that the strategy of BJP and Sangh is very serious regarding the upcoming elections.
