After NDA, now tussle started in 'India' Alliance in Jharkhand, Tejashwi angry with Congress and Hemant's unilateral decision

Ranchi: On the one hand, there is turmoil in the NDA alliance regarding seat sharing and candidates for the assembly elections in Jharkhand, while on the other hand, turmoil has started in the India alliance as well. RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha, while talking to the media in Ranchi, said that the way Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress decided on a unilateral alliance is not right.

Election Commission removed Jharkhand DGP Anurag Gupta, directed the state government to appoint a new DGP.
Manoj Jha said that despite Tejashwi Yadav being present in Ranchi, he was not informed about the announcement regarding the alliance. Congress and JMM unilaterally announced alliance on 70 seats and talked about giving us only 5 seats, whereas in 2019 our candidate stood second on 5 seats. We are capable of contesting elections alone on more than a dozen seats in Jharkhand.

Manoj Jha said, "Our (RJD) entire leadership is here...a meeting was held this morning and in that meeting it was found that the strength is of the mass base which is in favor of RJD. Last time we fought on 7 seats because Lalu Yadav Our aim was to oust BJP and it is sad to say that our presence in different districts is very strong. We will ask our allies to take a decision accordingly... Our Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav is here (Ranchi), despite everyone being here, if you do not involve us in the process of forming the alliance. This makes us sad... It also hurts because our strength is probably very high... We have identified 15 to 18 such seats where perhaps we alone are capable of defeating the BJP. All options are open because it does not seem appropriate for any political party to move forward ignoring the sentiments of its leaders and workers.

Hemant announced alliance on 70 seats, gave information to the media in the presence of Congress leaders

On seat distribution in Jharkhand assembly elections, Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta said, "Our in-charge, president, CLP leader and INDIA alliance team are sitting on seat distribution, all things are happening peacefully. There is no discrimination anywhere." "INDIA alliance is working strongly. The great people of Jharkhand will again give a chance to INDIA alliance to Hemant Soren's government."
