This matter is said to be related to the year 2017, in which a dispute had come to light regarding the performance in a wedding ceremony.

What is the whole matter?

The complainant Pawan Verma (Pawan Sharma in some reports) had alleged that Ameesha Patel was booked to perform at a wedding ceremony on 16 November 2017. For this, about Rs 14.50 lakh was given in advance and arrangements for his stay were also made.

According to the complaint, the actress did not attend the program. Later Rs 10 lakh was returned, but a check of Rs 4.50 lakh bounced. On this basis, the matter reached the court and after a long legal process, the court has now issued a non-bailable warrant.

Ameesha Patel broke her silence

Ameesha Patel has given her reaction on this entire controversy through social media. He wrote in the Instagram post that this is a many years old matter and at that time an agreement had been reached between the two parties.

According to Ameesha, the complainant had signed the settlement letter and had also received the agreed amount. Despite this, now again action is being taken by making false allegations.

The actress clarified that her lawyers are initiating criminal proceedings against the complainant for fraud. She also said that she wanted to focus on her work and not pay attention to such allegations, which she considered an “attention-seeking attempt”.

Ameesha’s team says that the matter was already settled and the agreement was reached years ago. However, due to his absence in the court, a non-bailable warrant was issued following the summons.
