After getting relief from the court in the alleged liquor policy case of Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal reached Sri Harmandir Sabih with his family on Thursday. Here he bowed down and took blessings and thanked Waheguru.
During this, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was also present with his wife. Both the leaders along with their families offered prayers in the Gurudwara and called it the victory of truth.
‘Despite false allegations the truth prevailed’
After paying obeisance at Darbar Sahib, Kejriwal said that many leaders of his party were falsely accused and sent to jail as part of a political conspiracy.
He said that the court rejected all the allegations and made it clear that there was not enough evidence to prosecute. According to Kejriwal, this is the victory of justice and he considers it to be the grace of Waheguru. He said that he has come to Darbar Sahib many times before to take blessings and this time too he has come with his family to give thanks.
Public service is the biggest responsibility
Kejriwal said that the public has given him the responsibility to serve and he will continue to move forward on the same path. He said that despite big allegations and political pressure, the Aam Aadmi Party remained on the path of truth. According to him, public trust and God’s blessings are his biggest strengths.
He also said that even people coming from ordinary families can perform big responsibilities if they have the support of the public and the blessings of God.
Mention of the work of Punjab Government
On this occasion, Kejriwal also mentioned the work of the Aam Aadmi Party government running in Punjab. He said that many important decisions related to education, health and women have been taken in the state in the last four years.
He said that efforts have been made to fulfill the promises made by the government and in the coming times, more big schemes will be implemented for the development of Punjab. According to him, preparations are being made to take the state to the next level in the fields of infrastructure, employment and industries.
Preparation to increase investment
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also said on this occasion that the truth has come out through the court’s decision. Describing it as the victory of truth, he said that it is with this happiness and gratitude that he has come to pay obeisance at Darbar Sahib. Mann said that “Invest Punjab” program is going to be started soon to promote investment in the state, in which investors from India and abroad will participate.
He expressed hope that this will expand industries in Punjab, increase employment opportunities and give a new impetus to the state’s economy.
