Strictness in Bihar on the lines of UP

Before Bihar, very strict laws regarding open sale of meat are already in effect in states like Uttar Pradesh. According to the instructions of the UP government, displaying meat on the streets or hanging it outside the shop is completely prohibited. There, it is mandatory for shopkeepers to install black glass or a dark curtain in front of their shop so that passersby do not see the meat. Such restrictions are also in force near religious and public places in some cities of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Now Bihar government is also preparing to follow the same path and change the nature of urban and rural areas.
