From the beginning till the end, Karanvir Mehra fought strongly and won the trophy of Bigg Boss 18, leaving all the other contestants behind. Along with this he also won Rs 50 lakh. Karanvir got huge support from the fans and became the winner of the show. After coming out of the house, Karanvir also talked openly about paid media in a recent interview.

He said, “If I had this much money, I would have opened my own channel. But it happens that when many people run in a race and one is left behind, then he definitely looks for an excuse. Like my shoes came loose, or my laces weren't tied. The job of media is to bring forward the voice of the public. Karanvir Mehra also praised film choreographer and director Farah Khan. Actually, when Farah Khan came to the show, she presented a gold medal to Karanvir and encouraged him by calling the show 'The Karanvir Mehra Show'. After winning the show, Karanvir Mehra expressed his gratitude to Farah Khan and said, “Because of Farah Khan, I got more courage. The gold medal worn by him means a lot to me. It was only after seeing that gold medal that I fought further and it was his push that helped me win the trophy.”
