Iranian attack will focus on America : After the attack on Iran by US-Israel, the entire Middle East is in the grip of a fierce war. Iran, along with Iraqi militia and Hezbollah, is targeting American military bases in Israel and Gulf countries. Meanwhile, Iran and its proxies may launch attacks targeting the US in response to the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, according to a US intelligence assessment reviewed by Reuters.

A threat assessment conducted on February 28 by the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis said Iran and its proxies “probably” pose a threat of targeted attacks on the United States, although a large-scale physical attack is unlikely. The report warned that, for now, the biggest concern is cyber retaliation by “hacktivists” linked to Iran. This can include small but harmful operations such as defacing websites and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against US networks.
“Although large-scale physical attacks are not expected, Iran and its proxies probably pose a continuing threat of targeted attacks in the homeland, and if reports of the Ayatollah’s death are confirmed, they would almost certainly escalate retaliation – or demands for action,” the DHS assessment said. “I am coordinating directly with our federal intelligence and law enforcement partners as we closely monitor and disrupt any potential threats to the homeland,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement.
