Aftermath of deadly earthquake in Guangxi region as relief efforts continue
A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit Guangxi in China early on Monday, causing at least two deaths and displacing thousands of residents amid significant damage to infrastructure in the city of Liuzhou.
Footage shows debris and rubble scattered across city streets while search and rescue operations continue. Locals can be seen lining up outside aid camps as the military locates displaced individuals near makeshift camps in a nearby park.

Reports suggest the two confirmed deaths are of a 63-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, while another person is still missing, with four hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
An estimate suggests that 13 buildings collapsed, while railway authorities noted transportation disruptions during the inspection of rail line infrastructure.
Communication, power, water and gas supplies in the affected area are reportedly functioning normally.
