An angry farewell to Ishan Kishan : The teams are practicing before the start of IPL 2026. On March 21, an unexpected incident took place during a practice match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. SRH spinner Zeeshan Ansari dismissed captain Ishan Kishan and then lost his temper. He angrily sent the SRH captain back to the pavilion. A video of this is now going viral on social media.

SRH organized a warm-up match, in which the team was divided into two teams. During the practice session, 26-year-old leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari came in to bowl the eighth over of the second innings. Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan was batting at 52 off 20 balls. Two sixes and two fours were hit off Zeeshan’s first four balls. Ishan had put the spinner in trouble well, and then, on the fifth ball, he was dismissed trying to hit a big shot.

Zeeshan then lost his temper and started arguing with the captain. He angrily sent Ishaan off the field. Instead of arguing, the T20 World Cup winner decided to end the conversation with a smile. Pat Cummins will miss the opening few matches of IPL 2026 due to injury. It is for this reason that SRH has appointed Ishan Kishan as the captain. Ishan will lead the team in Cummins’ absence. Zeeshan Ansari is the most important spinner of SRH. He took six wickets in 10 matches last season.

He is currently in good form and SRH will be expecting a strong performance from him in IPL 2026. Captain Ishan will wish Zeeshan to continue his form and aggressive approach in IPL 2026. Talking about this warm-up match, Abhishek Sharma’s batting prowess was also on display as he scored a brilliant knock of 94 runs. Apart from this, Heinrich Klaasen scored 49 runs, while Salil Arora’s bat showed a knock of 47 runs off 16 balls. With Sunrisers Hyderabad stalwart Travis Head yet to join the squad, his arrival could strike terror into the minds of any team’s bowlers.
