Singer Ahmed Jahanzeb has claimed that he wrote the lyrics and composed the music for the original soundtrack of the latest drama Ishq Murshid.
At Hum TV's 20th anniversary event, Ahmed Jahanzeb performed the OST Tera Mera Hai Pyar Amar and discussed the song with Hum TV.
Ahmed Jahanzeb said that he had been singing since young and achieved stardom at the age of 14 or 15. He claims to have fans worldwide at age 15. In the year 2000, he was singing several good songs which people loved.
When asked about the OST of Ishq Murshid, Ahmed Jahanzeb claimed that he wrote the lyrics for Tera Mera Hai Pyar Amar.
He added that not only did he sing the song but also composed its music, asserting that the song’s preparation was entirely his work.
Ahmed Jahanzeb credited the song’s success to the on-screen chemistry between Bilal Abbas and Dur-e-Fishan, saying their realistic portrayal made the video appealing to viewers. He also shared his favorite lines from the song.
Although he did not provide further details about Tera Mera Hai Pyar Amar or refute Javeria Saud’s earlier claims, he reiterated that he solely created the song.
She was quoted in the last week of October 2024 claiming on Sama TV that she had composed the lyrics of Ishq Murshid’s OST but not to her credit.
Ishq Murshid was Hum TV’s drama telecast from October 2023 through May 2024; this drama along with its Ost Tera Mera Hai Pyar Amar have earned them the Best drama and best song of the year.
Also remember that senior actress and producer Javeria Saud has revealed that she has so far written the stories of several popular dramas and telefilms, which were also liked after their airing.
Javeria Saud, while talking briefly to a journalist recently, said that soon she was written that the drama Muhhabat aur Mehngai ‘Love and Inflation’ is going to air, the shooting of which is going on.
Speaking on the shooting set of the said drama, Javeria Saud said that she always wrote plays on public issues and their stories.
