Star Wars enthusiasts can’t stop talking about Ahsoka Season 2 these days. That massive cliffhanger from the first season back in 2023 still hangs over everything, with Ahsoka and Sabine stuck on Peridea while Thrawn makes his big comeback. Rosario Dawson shines again as the wise former Jedi, bridging those beloved animated stories from Rebels and Clone Wars into thrilling live-action territory.

Ahsoka Season 2 Release Date Buzz

Disney and Lucasfilm haven’t dropped an official premiere date yet. Filming kicked off in April 2025 and wrapped up around September or October, leaving the team deep in post-production for those epic visual effects. Looking at how Season 1 took about 10-15 months from wrap to release, most folks figure a 2026 drop makes sense – probably mid-to-late in the year, maybe fall to dodge the Mandalorian & Grogu movie hitting theaters in May.

Ahsoka Season 2 Expected Cast

The main squad returns in full force. Rosario Dawson leads as Ahsoka Tano, with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, and Lars Mikkelsen chilling everyone as Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Hayden Christensen comes back as Anakin Skywalker, possibly with more screen time through Force visions or deeper connections.
