Accused of making fake nude photos-videos of more than 100 women on Instagram with AI, accused pastor arrested from Delhi

A serious case has come to light in Delhi related to a pastor giving online religious sermons, in which he has been accused of objectionable and cyber crime related activities against women. The accused had tried to befriend a woman, but became angry after she rejected him. After this, he is accused that with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), he prepared objectionable and fake (morphed) nude photo-videos of the woman and her mother and shared them on social media. The accused had posted similar morphed and objectionable photo-videos of more than 100 women through a fake Instagram account.

According to the information, the 27-year-old accused pastor, who gave online religious sermons, used to make online religious videos and allegedly created obscene content by editing the photographs of several women using easily available AI tools. After this, these photos and videos were uploaded through different fake social media accounts. According to the police, in this case, Ahmedabad Cyber ​​Crime Branch tracked the accused in Delhi and arrested him. This action has been taken under the new initiative named “Mission Cyber ​​Rakshika #SecureHerSpace”, which aims to take strict action on cyber crimes against women.

This case is related to a woman from Gujarat. The accused first started chatting with the woman on Instagram and allegedly extended the conversation by discussing religious topics. Later he tried to befriend the woman, but the woman refused to accept the proposal. After this, it is alleged in the case that the dispute escalated and later serious activities related to cyber crime came to light, which are being investigated by cyber crime agencies.

According to the complaint lodged with the police, the accused allegedly continuously stalked the complainant woman through the internet between December 2025 and April 6. During this, he allegedly downloaded the photos of the woman and her mother from Instagram and then manipulated them with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Investigation has revealed that the accused edited these photographs to make them objectionable and obscene (morphed) and uploaded them on social media. It is alleged that he did not limit himself to just one case, but also morphed the photos and videos of more than 100 women and shared them on different fake accounts.

According to the information, the accused created 3 fake Instagram accounts and a YouTube channel using the woman’s name and photographs. Objectionable content, allegedly generated with the help of AI, was uploaded on these platforms and inflammatory comments were also made with the aim of damaging the reputation of the woman and her family. During the investigation, the police also came to know that the accused had created a total of 8 to 10 fake accounts on various platforms including X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. These accounts were allegedly used to defame the woman and target her online.
