Meanwhile, Galgotias University presented a robotic dog named “Orion”, which left the audience very excited. But later it became a matter of controversy because this dog was actually a product of Chinese company Unitree. After this controversy, the university clarified that it never claimed to develop it.

Actually, the real name of the robotic dog called Orion is Go2 Is. According to the official website of Unitree company, the price of this robotic dog is $2,800 (approximately ₹ 2,53,953). Apart from Go2, its Pro, Air and X versions are also available. The Pro version comes with a controller option, while the Air and X versions are available with or without a controller. The Air version is priced at $1,600 (approximately ₹1,45,116) and the X version is priced at $4,500 (approximately ₹4,08,138).

Features of robotic dog

Now pay attention to the features of this robotic dog. The weight of the Go2 Pro version is approximately 15 kg. It is made from strong aluminum alloy and high strength engineering plastic. This dog can work on power ranging from 28V to 33.6V and 3,000W. Apart from this, it is capable of lifting weight up to 8 kg.

Talking about speed, this dog can move at a speed of 0-3.5 meters per second (about 12.6 kilometers per hour). It has many advanced features, such as super wide angle 3D LIDAR sensor, HD wide angle camera, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 4G module with GPS, voice function, and intelligent obstacle detection and avoidance.
