AI Impact Summit 2026: At the AI ​​Impact Summit held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, the Bihar government signed MoUs worth a total of Rs 468 crore with several big technology companies and IIT Patna. On the same occasion, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary also inaugurated the Bihar Pavilion at the summit on Tuesday.

During this, JDU working president and MP Sanjay Jha, Bihar Government’s Information Technology Minister Shreyasi Singh, Industries Minister Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, Bihar Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, Additional Chief Secretary B. Rajendra, Secretary of Industries Department Kundan Kumar, Secretary of Information Technology Department Abhay Kumar Singh, Director of Agriculture Department Saurabh Yadav, Professor Pritam Kumar of IIT Patna and Director of IIT Patna Professor T.N. Singh was also present.

Promotion of innovation, incubation and employment

A Bihar government official said that several MoUs have been signed to promote innovation and employment in the state. MoUs worth Rs 60 crore were signed for setting up an AI Center of Excellence in Bihar and Rs 250 crore for setting up a Research Park at IIT Patna.

Tiger Analytics will become the industry partner for setting up AI CEO in Bihar, while IIT Patna will collaborate as the academic partner. The official said that recently the Bihar government has taken many new decisions in the IT sector, which also includes the announcement of new policies. These steps will create around 10,000 new jobs in the state.

Ashwini Vaishnav with young inventors

During the summit, Union Minister of Information Technology, Information Broadcasting and Railways Ashwini Vaishnav was seen giving awards to the young innovators, not on the stage, but sitting on the stairs towards them and talking to them. During this, all the young people present there kept clapping for him and appreciated him enthusiastically.

Union Minister apologized for the delay

The Union Minister also apologized from the stage for some inconvenience caused at the entry gate. He said that if anyone has any suggestion to improve this function, he can share it. A young innovator who came from America to participate in this summit said that his thinking towards leaders in India was different, but the behavior of Ashwini Vaishnav completely changed his perception. He said that the minister’s calm, gentle and easy-going behavior won everyone’s heart.
