AI Impact Summit: PM Modi inaugurates India AI Impact Expo, sees glimpse of technology
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘India AI Impact Expo 2026’ at the Bharat Mandapam here on Monday. On this occasion, he underlined the government’s commitment towards establishing India as a global leading country in the field of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
India AI Impact Expo 2026 is being organized from 16 to 20 February along with India AI Impact Summit. It brings together policymakers, industry representatives, researchers, startups and global technology experts from around the world to consider the transformative potential of artificial intelligence across sectors.
The expo features exhibitions by leading Indian and global technology companies, AI startups, academic institutions and government departments. It showcases AI-based applications in sectors such as health, agriculture, education, manufacturing, climate action and public service delivery.
According to officials, the conference will feature high-level panel discussions on topics such as AI ethics, data governance, skill development, research collaboration and regulatory framework. Additionally, special sessions will also be held on India’s Responsible AI Development Plan and the Use of AI in Digital Public Infrastructure.
The event is part of the government’s broader strategy to empower India with leading technologies through initiatives such as Digital India, boosting semiconductor manufacturing and expanding innovation hubs across the country.
With the participation of international delegates and industry partners, India AI Impact Expo 2026 is becoming an important platform to strengthen partnerships, attract investments and drive policy discussions on the future of AI in India and the world.
