In its 2025 predictions Dell Technologies highlighted the adoption of AI, the revolutionisation of human-computer interaction as well as the evolution of agentic AI architecture.
Dell Technologies Predicts 2025: The Rise of Agentic AI and Human-AI Collaboration
As per the global chief technology officer and chief AI officer, John Roese, “No matter which technology you explore today, there is a connective tissue into the AI ecosystem, and every technology is now either enabling AI or is enabled by AI. We are evolving from static and reactive AI to a more dynamic, autonomous, interactive, and profound set of tools that will allow us to go beyond what we have been able to do so far.”
The prediction by the technology company highlights the paradigm shift in the human-AI interaction, wherein the year 2025 shall be “agentic”, which is an advancement in AI technology, where in the maturity of generative AI is reached, which would result in the development of sophisticated AI agents for autonomous operations with a diverse set of skills.
As per the company, 2025 is also predicted to be the year wherein the organizations will actually prioritize ROI as well as business value from their AI initiatives, which would lead to true scaling of enterprise AI. Issues like fraud detection shall be tacked by AI. There shall be digital humans at the disposal for customer service.
Dell Technologies’ 2025 Predictions: AI’s Integration with Emerging Technologies and the Future of Work
As per the CTO, AI’s true potential lies in its connections with other emerging technologies in areas like quantum computing, intelligent edge, zero trust security, 6G technologies, and digital twins.
He said that “We know that there are going to be basic jobs that AI can do easily and repeatedly. However, the exciting part is that there are new jobs being created everywhere – software composers, AI interpreters, and thermal plumbers, to name a few.”
He added “Strong human-to-AI and human-to-human collaboration will be key to driving a shared digital future”.
Dell Technologies’ 2025 predictions hint towards a future where humans and AI will work more closely than ever to enhance productivity, and the further maturation of AI will also lead to the creation of more powerful AI agents.
