AIADMK’s third list released: 17 candidates announced, Valarmati and Gokula Indira got tickets

AIADMK Candidates List: The political atmosphere regarding Tamil Nadu assembly elections is continuously heating up. In this series, AIADMK has released the third list of its candidates for the proposed voting on April 23. There are 17 names included in this list and the party has fielded experienced leaders especially on important seats in Chennai.

Party general secretary E.K. Palaniswami has given ticket to senior leader Adi Rajaram from Chepauk-Tiruvallikeni seat. Whereas, from Thousand Lights seat, former minister B. Valarmati and Anna Nagar to S. Gokula Indira has been made the candidate.

167 candidates announced in three phases

Let us tell you that till now AIADMK has declared the names of a total of 167 candidates in three phases. Candidates for 150 seats were announced in the two lists released earlier. Voting for all 234 seats in the state will be held in a single phase on April 23.

The first list was released on March 25, which contained names of 23 candidates. In this, party chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami was made a candidate from his traditional Edappadi seat, along with 21 former ministers. After this, 127 candidates were announced in the second list released on March 27, which included 46 sitting MLAs and 17 women candidates.
