Air Force soldier was selling army secrets, took money from Pakistan’s ISI
An Indian Air Force employee has been arrested by the police on charges of spying. This employee was under strict surveillance of the intelligence teams of Rajasthan and Air Force. The name of the arrested person is Sumit Kumar, who is originally from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. He was working at Chabua Air Force Station in Assam. Investigation has revealed that Sumit was in contact with Pakistani spies for a long time and was sending them very important and confidential information related to the Indian Army.
This espionage case started in January 2026 when Rajasthan Police caught a man named Jhabra Ram from Jaisalmer. When Jhabra Ram was severely interrogated, he told that he is part of a gang that works for the intelligence agencies of Pakistan. On the basis of his words and the clues given, the investigation reached Sumit Kumar. After this, Rajasthan and Air Force Intelligence together laid a trap and Sumit was caught from Dibrugarh district of Assam. Now he has been brought to Jaipur for further action.

Air Force bases and missile information leaked
Investigation has revealed that Sumit Kumar was associated with the enemies since the year 2023. He had told the secret information related to the location of Air Force fighter planes and missile systems to Pakistani agents. Apart from this, he had also leaked a lot of data about the security arrangements of Bikaner in Rajasthan and Chabua Air Force Station in Assam and the senior officers posted there. Sumit had also created social media accounts for Pakistani spies by taking SIM cards in his name so that they could communicate easily.
Betrayed the country for greed of money
During police interrogation, Sumit confessed that he had done all this out of greed for money. He was trapped in the trap of Pakistani spies through social media. After telling them small things in the beginning, he gradually started giving them every big secret information of the army. In return, Pakistani agents used to send him money online. This case shows how enemy countries are using social media to target government employees.

Case filed against Sumit
Police have registered a case against Sumit Kumar under stringent anti-espionage laws i.e. Official Secrets Act and BNS Act. He was arrested on March 22 at the Special Police Station in Jaipur. Now the investigating agencies are investigating how many more people are involved in this espionage network. Police are also finding that Sumit has till now passed on important information related to the country’s security to the enemies.
