Air Pollution: Air quality has deteriorated in the capital Delhi; AQI reaches above 400, breathing becomes difficult

New Delhi : The problem of pollution in the capital Delhi does not seem to be reducing. Delhi’s air quality was recorded in the worst category on Sunday. Prior to that, the air quality remained very poor on Saturday as well. On Sunday morning, there was a blanket of fog in the capital. which significantly reduced visibility. According to the Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi, several areas recorded AQI above 400, which falls in the worst category.

A layer of toxic smog has enveloped the Anand Vihar area, affecting the national capital. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality index in Anand Vihar was recorded at 445, which falls in the critical category. AQI was recorded at 415 in Chandni Chowk, 404 in Dwarka, 321 in IGI Airport area, 403 in ITO and 428 in Vivek Vihar.
