Air travel will become expensive, huge increase in air fuel price

New Delhi : The holy festivals of Diwali and Chhath Puja are currently going on in the country. In such a situation, people go to their homes to celebrate the festival, due to which the prices of air fares are skyrocketing. Now news is coming that air travel may become even more expensive. On November 1, government oil marketing companies have increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders as well as airfuel.

From today, the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel i.e. ATF has been increased by 3.35 percent or Rs 2941.5 per kiloliter. Which can have a direct impact on the general public. This may have an impact on the pockets of those traveling by air during the season of Chhath Puja and weddings.

ATF became costlier by this much percent

Let us tell you that only last month the government oil companies had reduced the price of ATF, but with the beginning of the month of November, its price has been increased drastically. The price of ATF has been increased citing the rising prices of crude oil. In the country's capital Delhi, the price of ATF has been increased by Rs 2941 per kiloliter, after which its price has become Rs 90538.72 per kiloliter. However, last month the same price used to be Rs 87587.22 per kilolitre, which simply means that ATF has become costlier by 3.35 per cent this month. The new price of ATF in the capital Delhi has become Rs 90538.72 per kilolitre, in Kolkata it has become Rs 93392 per kilolitre, in Mumbai it has become Rs 84642 per kilolitre and in Chennai it has become Rs 93957 per kilolitre.

Expensive ATF can have a direct impact on people who mostly travel by air. After this decision of government oil companies, air travel has become expensive. Recently, the country's largest airline Indigo has also admitted the decline in the company's profits citing expensive ATF. The increasing price of ATF can have a direct impact on air travelers.
