Airline Indigo: Disturbances in operations of Airline Indigo for the third consecutive day, more than 150 flights cancelled.

Airline Indigo : The condition of the country’s largest airline Indigo continues to be bad. More than 150 flights of India’s largest airline company Indigo were cancelled. Hundreds of flights had been canceled in the last two days alone and the situation did not show improvement even on the third day. Due to cancellation of flights, passengers faced huge chaos at the airports. According to reports, Bengaluru Airport confirmed that 73 IndiGo flights had to be canceled on December 4, while more than 50 flights were canceled at Delhi Airport and 85 at Mumbai Airport. At least 64 flights to and from Hyderabad were also affected.

According to reports, the reasons behind the canceled flights on Thursday were said to be technical glitches, bad weather and airport congestion. But according to sources, the biggest reason is the new pilot rest and duty rules of DGCA. According to the new rule, pilots have to do limited flying and landing from 12 midnight to 6 am, and weekly rest has also been increased.

The company claims that efforts are being made to normalize operations in the next 48 hours. On the other hand, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has sought an immediate report on the entire matter—the company has been asked why the crisis arose and what is the strategy to deal with it.
