'A little spice has to be added': Australian PM stunned by Virat Kohli's reply

Delhi: The Indian Test team met Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who hosted a reception in the team's honour. The Indian team is currently playing a five-match series in Australia and has taken a 1-0 lead in the first match. After this, Team India will play a pink ball practice match against Prime Minister's XI.

During the ceremony, Albanese met the Indian players. When he praised Virat Kohli's brilliant century in the Perth Test, he also jokingly said that this innings put his team in more trouble.

Australian PS said, “Great century in Perth. Like we were already less troubled.” To this Kohli laughingly replied, “A little spice has to be added.”

This funny answer of Kohli made everyone present there burst into laughter. Albanese also praised Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah and said, “Your style is different from everyone else. Great performance.”

Referring to the practice match, Albanese posted on social media, “Big challenge for PM's XI at Manuka Oval, Indian team is incredible.”
