Aishwarya Rai seems to be implying quietly that she and Abhishek Bachchan are happy. Because of their public appearances and social media activity, the pair has been the focus of months-long divorce rumors. Recently, Aishwarya appeared to subtly address rumors by flaunting her wedding band during Paris Fashion Week.

Aishwarya was shown wearing a ring on her right hand’s ring finger in a video clip while she and her daughter Aaradhya attended Paris Fashion Week. Although it’s unclear if the band she was wearing—which she received from Abhishek—is actually her wedding ring, some Reddit users think it proves their continued relationship.

A Reddit user commented, “She wanted you people to see her wearing it.” Another wrote, “On point! There was so much discussion on it.” Someone added, “I have never read a better explanation than this one!” A comment read, “So they are not divorced but just fighting? I hope that’s the case and everything resolves soon.”

After being married to Abhishek Bachchan for more than 17 years, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been the looped in over persistent divorce rumors. Abhishek and Aishwarya’s separate arrivals for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s well-publicized Mumbai wedding on July 12th only served to feed the speculations. Aishwarya arrived at the ceremony later with their daughter Aaradhya, while Abhishek arrived with Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Agastya Nanda.

During that time, Abhishek Bachchan gained notice for ‘liking’ an Instagram post that discussed the difficulties of love and coincided with the continuing rumors of his split.
