Neeraj Yadav is directing this movie. But now this movie is embroiled in controversies. Actually, Kshatriya Parishad has expressed displeasure over some dialogues shown in the teaser and the way the history of Rajputs is shown.

Let us tell you that Kshatriya Parishad said that Rajput history has been used as a weapon in the film, the organization has made it clear that such efforts are being made for electoral or ideological purposes. Now the organization has issued a statement on social media calling it extremely unfortunate. He said that once again an attempt is being made to drag Rajput identity into the political narrative.

What did Kshatriya Parishad say in its statement?

Kshatriya Parishad issued a statement on social media clearly saying, ‘Kshatriya Parishad has strongly condemned the politics being done by Neeraj Yadav and actor Ajay Devgan in the name of Chauhan dynasty. The council says that Chauhan is a historical Rajput dynasty and their history is the heritage of the country. It should not be used for any political gain or to create controversy in the media.

We strongly condemn the attempt by Neeraj Yadav and Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film Chauhaan to appropriate the Chauhan clan name for contemporary communal politics.

According to the council, ‘It is very sad that the Rajput community is being forcefully dragged into politics, whereas the Rajputs had not made any such demand. In today’s times, when the true cause of Rajputs does not find a place in the media and society, then it is very wrong and insulting to use the name of Rajput dynasty just to spread anger and hatred or to create a political drama.

This organization further said, ‘Mahmood Lodi fought under the leadership of Maharana Sanga in the battle of Khanwa. Actually, Hakim Khan Sur had commanded a contingent of Maharana Pratap’s army in the ongoing war in Haldighati. There has been no clarification from the film makers yet on the controversy going on from the organization’s side.
