Maharashtra Next CM: After registering victory with a huge majority in Maharashtra, a decision on the Chief Minister face has to be taken among the alliance parties of Mahayuti. However, BJP emerged as the largest party in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. BJP alone won 132 seats and thus Mahayuti won 235 seats out of 288.
BJP just 7 seats away from majority alone
Meanwhile, information is also coming to light that 5 newly elected independent MLAs have given their support to BJP. After which BJP has 138 seats and is only 7 seats away from majority. NCP, which is part of the grand alliance of all these, has given its support to Devendra Fadnavis for the post of Chief Minister.

Ajit Pawar supported Devendra Fadnavis
Actually, after the victory in Maharashtra, two names are being discussed the most for the post of CM. One name is coming forward from BJP side Devendra Fadnavis and the other name is Eknath Shinde. Although BJP has the maximum number of seats, this time the party can make its CM. Besides, ally party NCP has also extended support to BJP. After this support, Shinde's card may be cut.
Dispute between Fadnavis-Shinde group!
Shinde faction is continuously demanding to make Shinde the CM. Amidst all this, Devendra Fadnavis has made it clear that the name of the CM post will be approved only after the meeting of the legislature party. Although no dispute has come to light between Fadnavis and Shinde regarding the post of CM, news of tussle between the people of both the groups is coming to light.

The BJP leader says that BJP has won the maximum number of seats in the state, hence the Chief Minister should be from BJP, whereas Shinde faction says that the election was fought under the leadership of Shinde and his beloved sister scheme is being implemented in the assembly elections. There has been a lot of benefit. Therefore, today the curtain can be removed on which name is approved.
