Ajit Peter Dungdung again becomes SP of Nishinkat Dubey's area, was removed from Deoghar during elections.

Ranchi: Ajit Peter Dungdung has once again been made the SP of Deoghar. After Hemant Sarkar took oath, Ajit Peter Dungdung has been appointed as SP of Deoghar. It is noteworthy that Ajit Peter Dungdung was removed after the complaint of BJP during the elections. Later the police headquarters made him the commander of ZAP-5 in Deoghar.

Ajit Peter was also SP of Dumka.

It is noteworthy that 2011 batch IPS officer Ambar Lakra was the commandant of ZAP-3 Dhanbad. He had earlier been the SP of Dumka. It is noteworthy that even during the Lok Sabha elections, Ajit Peter Dungdung was removed from the post of SP Deoghar by the Election Commission. However, after the elections were over, he was again made SP Deoghar.

Removed from post after complaint

The Commission had received a complaint against him that Shivdutt Sharma, an absconding accused in three cases, had reached Jasidih police station and lodged an FIR against MP Nishikant Dubey. Questions were raised that the absconding accused reaches the police station and files an FIR, and the police does not arrest him. The Election Commission had ordered the state government five days ago to remove SP Deoghar Ajit Peter Dungdung. When no action was taken despite the Commission's order, a day earlier the Commission had made a strong comment and asked the State Government to what extent the earlier order had been followed. After this, the government issued an order related to this on Monday.

Hemant Soren transferred after becoming Chief Minister, Avinash Kumar will remain Additional Secretary to Chief Minister, Anurag Gupta will become DGP and Manju Bhajantri will become DC of Ranchi.
