Ajith Kumar verifies competing for 24H Dubai race, post the dramatic crash during practice

Recently, Ajith Kumar declared that he will no longer be competing in the 24H Dubai racing series, opting instead to continue as the team’s owner. However, the actor-racer will compete on January 11, 2025, according to an official confirmation from AK’s manager, Suresh Chandra.

Through his official X (formerly Twitter) profile, Suresh Chandra made the official confirmation.

The tweet stated: “Ajith sir is racing today. While remaining the Team Owner for Ajith Kumar Racing, he will be driving for Ajith Kumar Racing by Razoon shortly.”

On the hindsight, fans are in for a treat as the actor-turned-racer’s films, Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly, make their stage debut.

The former film was originally scheduled for a Pongal release, but for some reason, the producers decided to postpone it. Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan play the lead roles in the action thriller Vidaamuyarchi, which was directed by Magizh Thirumeni.Ajith Kumar crashes race car into barrier ahead of 24H Dubai 2025.
