AJSU candidate attacked, car bombed twice in ten seconds

The election campaign for the second phase of Jharkhand assembly elections is at its peak. Leaders are blaming each other, but meanwhile a surprising incident has happened. The car of AJSU candidate from Pakur seat Azhar Islam was attacked with a bomb at around 8.45 pm on Saturday night. They were returning from Barhadwa to Pakur by car.

Before Kotalpokhar, unknown people attacked with a bomb near Vijaypur bridge. However, they narrowly escaped. Azhar Islam told that a person was seen standing on the roadside from a distance near Vijaypur bridge. As soon as the vehicle reached near him, the person attacked the vehicle with a bomb. Within a span of just 10 seconds, a second bomb was also hurled targeting the vehicle. Sensing the situation he asked the driver to speed up the car.

Ajit Peter Dungdung was removed from the post of Deoghar SP, again appointed in Nishikant Dubey's area.

After this, AJSU candidate Azhar Islam directly reached the BJP office in Kotalpokhar and heaved a sigh of relief. After this, Pakur SP was immediately informed about the incident through mobile phone. On information, Pakur SP Prabhat Kumar and Nitin Khandelwal along with Kotalpokhar and Barhadwa police reached the spot and investigated.

According to Azhar Islam, only his security personnel were in the car at the time of the incident. However, there were vehicles of workers ahead and behind them, which did not suffer any damage. He told that the attacker threw two bombs.
