Recently Congress leader Manju Kumari has left Congress and joined BJP. It is believed that this time BJP can field Manju Kumari from Jamua. Therefore Kedar Hazra has decided to join JMM. Kedar Hazra defeated Manju Kumari by more than 18 thousand votes in the 2019 elections.
