Lucknow. Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday once again offered the post of CM to UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak. He said, ‘Either of the two Deputy CMs should bring 100 MLAs and go to the CM. During this, Akhilesh has also attacked the UP government regarding the Shankaracharya issue. He said that the way the state government is treating Shankaracharya. The public will answer that.

Akhilesh Yadav said that we have already offered the post of CM to Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. Let’s give it once again. Any one of the state’s Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak can bring 100 MLAs with him and become the Chief Minister. They will not get a better offer than this anywhere. Akhilesh Yadav has already offered the CM post to Keshav Prasad Maurya many times before, but this time he has also offered the CM post to another Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak. Now it will be interesting to see how and what Keshav and Brajesh Pathak will react to this.

Government cornered regarding Shankaracharya case

Akhilesh Yadav has attacked the government regarding the Shankaracharya episode. He said, tell me, how is Shankaracharya ji being treated? Where were these people at the time when Shikha was being held and humiliated? In our Sanatani system, no Shankaracharya was stopped from bathing in the Ganga, but this happened for the first time.

Referring to a 20 year old incident, Akhilesh raised questions on the insult to Shankaracharya. He said, who should they find to insult Shankaracharya? One should not say anything about Rambhadracharya ji, but if this is his disciple then I have made a mistake. We had withdrawn the 420 case registered against Rambhadracharya. I should have sent him to jail.

Akhilesh said that as the suffering of the people is increasing, the Backward, Dalit, Minority (PDA) alliance is getting stronger.
