Samajwadi Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav met Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati in Lucknow on Thursday. During this, Akhilesh Yadav saluted the saints present at the door with folded hands. Former MP Anu Tandon was also present with him.
Shankaracharya started cow protection journey
It is being told that Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand started his journey from Varanasi on 7 March. This journey passed through Jaunpur, Sultanpur and Sitapur and reached Lucknow on March 10 in four days. After reaching Lucknow, on Wednesday, he had sounded the trumpet of cow-pratishtha public awareness campaign. At present Shankaracharya is staying in Krishna Nagar area, where various political and social personalities are coming to meet him.

Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, while addressing the meeting organized after the conch sound of cow protection campaign in Lucknow, had given a statement, which is being discussed a lot.

He said in the meeting, “This is not a liquor shop. This meeting is like a pure cow’s milk shop. If there was a lot of crowd here, it would mean that it is a liquor shop. There is less crowd here, which clearly shows that this is a pure cow’s milk shop.”
