Akshay Kumar reads dialogues stuck on people’s back? Co-actor made a big revelation
Akshay Kumar: It has been discussed for a long time about Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar that he speaks his dialogues with the help of teleprompter. Many times such reels and videos have gone viral on social media, in which it was assumed from his eye movements that he was speaking a dialogue after reading something written somewhere. Now actor Gopi Bhalla has spoken openly on this discussion and made an interesting revelation related to Akshay Kumar.
Gopi Bhalla tells the story of the set of ‘Action Replay’
Gopi Bhalla says that Akshay Kumar has trouble remembering long dialogues, so he often performs scenes by looking at teleprompters, placards or dialogues written on someone’s back. Gopi Bhalla has worked in many films and TV shows. He was also seen in the film ‘Action Replay’ with Akshay Kumar, in which he played the role of a fruit seller. Recently, in an interview given to Siddharth Kanan, Gopi Bhalla shared an incident related to the sets of the same film.
He told, “In one scene, I spoke my lines very fast. On this, Akshay Kumar immediately said, ‘Wait, wait… I cannot speak so many dialogues. We will shoot this scene in parts.’ Then I understood that when we were shooting on the sets of Sabzi Mandi, the dialogues for them were written on someone’s back.”
Shooting stopped when the dialogue writer bowed his back
Gopi Bhalla also mentioned a funny incident that happened during the shooting. He said, “During the shoot, the man on whose back the dialogues were written suddenly bent down. Akshay immediately said, ‘Cut, man.’ Then he indicated by gesture that the back of the dialogue was bowed. He told the person to stand straight because he was doing a scene while reading the dialogue.” However, Gopi Bhalla also made it clear that Akshay Kumar is a very nice person and treats everyone with respect on the set.
Placards written with dialogues are seen around in Akshay’s scenes.
According to Gopi Bhalla, many times during Akshay Kumar’s scenes, people present around him either have his dialogues written on their backs or stand holding placards with dialogues written on them, so that Akshay can easily see the lines. He said, “The special thing about Akshay is that he speaks dialogues with such ease that the audience does not realize that he is speaking the lines after reading.”
Such a claim has been made before also
It is noteworthy that before Gopi Bhalla, last year director Sunil Darshan had also claimed in an interview that Akshay Kumar finds it difficult to remember dialogues. Sunil Darshan had worked with Akshay in the film ‘Jaanwar’.
