Akshaye Khanna increased her fees as soon as her success skyrocketed, left Drishyam 3 when demand was not met!

This film is continuously earning money by breaking big records. With every day its earnings are increasing instead of decreasing. Most of the credit for this spectacular success is being given to Akshay Khanna, who is seen in the role of Rahman dacoit in the film. Till now ‘Dhurandhar’ has earned more than Rs 600 crore in India. Soon it will cross the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide. This success of the film has increased the market value of Akshay Khanna overnight. But meanwhile a shocking news has come. Akshaye Khanna, who was to be seen in Ajay Devgan’s ‘Drishyam 3’ next year, has reportedly left the film. The reason being given is the demand to increase the fees.

Less fees were received from Ajay

Akshay Khanna had earlier also played an important role in ‘Drishyam 2’ (2022). The audience liked that film very much. According to reports, he received a fee of around Rs 2.5 crore for ‘Drishyam 2’, while lead actor Ajay Devgan was given Rs 30 crore. Now Akshay Khanna has reportedly asked for a fee of more than Rs 21 crore for ‘Drishyam 3’. This demand surprised the makers of the film, because the entire budget would have been affected by it.

The increased craze among fans is justified demand

Akshay Khanna finds his demand absolutely justified. The reason is clear, in the year 2025, he won everyone’s hearts by playing the role of Aurangzeb in the first ‘Chhaava’. Then he did wonders by becoming dacoit Rahman in ‘Dhurandhar’. Both the films have proved to be superhit and Akshay’s performance has received the most praise. In such a situation, he believes that his demand is completely right, because at present there is a huge craze for him among the audience and films are also getting more discussion because of him. The makers tried to convince him that paying such a high fee would increase the budget, but it did not work.

Akshay Khanna wanted change

Not only this, apart from fees, another big issue has come to light. According to reports, Akshay Khanna wanted some changes in the look of his character in ‘Drishyam 3’. Especially he wanted to wear a wig (fake hair). But the makers did not like this idea. The reason was that his character in ‘Drishyam 2’ was without a wig and he wanted to maintain continuity. Things also got spoiled due to these creative differences. Ultimately, Akshay Khanna decided to walk away from the film. However, he wished the makers all the best and everything ended well. It is being said that they can work together again in the future.
