Albinder Dhindsa: There has been a major change in India’s startup ecosystem. Eternal Ltd. Group CEO Deepinder Goyal has resigned from his post. He will now focus on the long-term strategy and future direction of the company as Vice Chairman. In his place, Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa is going to take up this responsibility.

Why did Deepinder Goyal resign?
Deepinder Goyal started the company as Zomato 18 years ago and built it into the multi-business group it is today. He made it clear in a letter to stakeholders that he wants to focus on Eternal’s long-term strategy.

Albinder Dhindsa will take over as the new CEO of the group from February 1. Albinder Dhindsa is an alumnus of IIT Delhi. He has obtained Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from here. Albinder has also done MBA from Columbia University, New York.

Albinder Dhindsa was born in Patiala, Punjab. After completing his studies from IIT Delhi, he started his career as a Transportation Analyst at URS Corporation. Later worked as Senior Associate in Cambridge Systematics.

Deepinder Goyal’s strategic vision and Albinder Dhindsa’s ground-level execution come together to take the company to the next heights.
