Iran: Big news has come out from Tehran. Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has passed away. Earlier US President Donald Trump had claimed his death, but now Iranian government media has also officially confirmed this news.

According to Iran’s state television and official news agency IRNA, 86-year-old Khamenei has died. However, no detailed information has been shared as to what caused his death. Earlier, Trump had claimed that Khamenei was killed in a joint American-Israeli operation.

An emotional message was also broadcast in Iranian media after the confirmation of Khamenei’s death.
