Alia Bhatt reveals diagnosis of specific mental disorder

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has revealed that she has been diagnosed with a specific mental disorder.

During the promotion of her film “Jigra,” Alia shared in an interview with “Lallantop” that she has been dealing with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) since childhood.

Alia explained that she often zoned out in class or while talking with friends which led her to undergo psychological testing resulting in the ADHD diagnosis.

She added, “When I told my friends, they said, ‘We already knew, it’s nothing new,’ but it was a revelation for me.”

Despite the challenges of ADHD, Alia finds peace in acting and spending time with her daughter Raha saying these moments bring her the greatest tranquillity in life.
